Salary Guide: £45,000 + OTE bonus package

The Role:

In the Bid Manager role you’ll report to the UK Commercial Director and will be primarily responsible for providing an EMEA wide product data analysis summary, parts, systems, pricing trends from internal data and external data sets to aid bid response, price list generation and commercial decisions.

Specific tasks include:

  • Developing and maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services, industry trends, and competition
  • Quote desk activity. Responding to quote opportunities with regional and global sales out pricing
  • Acting an interface function within the sales out organisation, you will organise the internal flow of information and maintain a professional communication with internal stakeholders
  • The processing, coordination and control of customer inquiries from the acquisition to quoting in the team with the colleagues in the back office
  • The robust collation of quoting history & data analysis of trends

This is a home-based position. The details around how this will work will be discussed at interview.


The Candidate:

To be the right person for Bid Manager role you will need direct experience of product data analysis and building / implementing data solutions.

We also need you to have prior experience of data analytic duties, specifically in areas similar to Power BI, data visualisation.

It’s also essential that you’ve got experience of B2B bid / sales activities.

It’s important that you also have the following:

  • Understanding and commercial awareness around B2B bid development activities
  • Very strong complex data analysis skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written

You’ll also need to be the following:

  • Motivated to work as an individual in a mainly Home Office-based role
  • Flexible in your approach and adaptable in your decision making
  • Experienced in building and implementing data solutions

The Package:

The basic salary for the Bid Manager role is in the £45,000 region.

In addition you can earn a personal performance bonus in the role if you hit your targets. Full details about the scheme will be revealed on application.
