You will be responsible for organising and delivering of recently won construction projects on time and within the budget set, you will work in a small, close nit and supportive management team, and have the freedom and authority to make decisions as required to get things done.

This is a field-based role covering projects across the the Midlands region and in it you’ll report directly to the Managing Director.


What experience do I need?

My client wants someone who’s got a background in managing Site Managers across a number of active construction sites.

They’ll also need you to have experience of managing projects at different stages of development (typically 5-7 active sites at any one time).

Plus, you’ll need some experience of producing construction phase plans and programmes, using Microsoft projects or something similar.

In addition, you’ll need the following:

– Strong organisational skills, able to manage numerous projects concurrently

– A strong Health & Safety understanding and drive good practice in areas of site operation

– Strong communication skills, able to with our subcontractors and clients to ensure completion of projects on time and within budget

What can I earn?

This Contracts Manager position offers a basic salary between £50,000 – £60,000 per annum plus vehicle arrangement ( whatever works best in your situation) My client just wants the right person so if this is outside your expectations please do still get in touch for a conversation.

On top of this, you can expect to earn a performance related bonus if you hit your targets (details of which will be discussed at interview).

In addition you’ll get other benefits which include the following:
