We’re looking for a talented Commercial Account Handler to work for our client.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of commercial lines products.

The Role:
Reporting to the Commercial Manager and working remotely, as the Commercial Account Handler you will be primarily responsible for providing quotations on all types of commercial insurance via the telephone and in writing, placing cover when instructed, inviting and confirming renewals and dealing with mid-term adjustments.
In the job you’ll be tasked with the following:
– Providing new business quotations for all classes of commercial insurance on request, providing relevant advice, information and guidance
– Offering renewal terms for existing clients in respect of alterations to existing policies
– Checking all clients documentation, ensuring queries are answered in a timely fashion

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Commercial Account Handler role will have relevant experience of commercial lines insurance products.
You’ll also need experience of renewal retention and mid-term adjustments.
In addition, you’ll need the following:
– Strong organisation and communication skills, able to work productively with colleagues and alone
– A good understanding of the insurance industry
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-You will need to be APA Qualified
The ideal person for the role will be the following:
– Able to collate risk information at new business and renewal
– Diligent and have an eye for detail
– Able to take instruction from clients
