Role: Interim Year End Accountant

Location: Coventry (Hybrid working arrangement)

Daily Rate: Circa £325-350 (Ltd company basis)

Please note: This is a full-time interim role.

The Role:

In the Interim Year End Accountant role, you’ll report to the Finance Director and will be responsible for overseeing the year-end financial closing process. You will also ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant regulations.

You’ll spend part of the working week based in the company’s Coventry office, with the remainder working from home. Details around how this will work will be revealed upon application.

The Candidate:

To be the right person for the Interim Year End Accountant role, you will need direct experience in managing year-end financial processes.

We also need you to have prior experience in:

• Preparing year-end financial statements in accordance with UK requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and preparing tax returns
• Performing reconciliations and resolving discrepancies in financial records

It’s important that you also have the following:

• A professional accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders

You’ll also need to be the following:

• Available to start an interim role within the next 2 weeks or so
• Able to commit to the length of the assignment, anticipated to be 2-3 months but likely to extend
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment during a critical financial period
