We’re looking for a talented Insurance Account Handler to work for our client.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of personal lines or commercial insurance products.

The Role:
As an Insurance Account Handler you’ll be primarily responsible for obtaining quotations and administering existing insurance policies. To set up new policies, to administer existing policies and to be proactive and focused on renewal retention.
You’ll report to the Broking Manager and you’ll spend part of the working week in the company’s Cirencester office . For the rest of the week you will be working from home.
In the job you’ll be tasked with the following:
– Maintaining regular contact with existing clients, to ensure their insurance requirements continue to be met
– Assisting the team in obtaining quotations, dealing with presentations, obtaining renewal data and terms so as to maximise new client sales and renewal retention
– Keeping accurate and complete records of communications and business transactions in accordance with company procedures and assist with team admin duties when necessary
– Maintain a high level of customer service and promote exceptional customer service standards
– Actively secure new business by approaching a panel of insurers to ensure the client is presented with the most suitable cover

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Insurance Account Handler role will have relevant experience in personal lines insurance products.
You’ll also need experience of relationship management as well as winning and retaining new business.
In addition, you’ll need the following:
– A good understanding of the insurance industry
– Negotiation skills
– An eye for detail
You’ll also need to be a strong communicator and be able to collate risk information at new business and renewal.
