Facilities Assistant – Bromley – £15.00/hr – Ongoing Interim Role (ENHANCED DBS REQUIRED)

Join our dedicated team and play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our care home facilities. This ongoing interim position offers a full-time schedule (35 hours/week) and the opportunity to contribute directly to a supportive and caring environment.

The Role:

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, delivering high-quality work and ensuring resident satisfaction.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks (PPMs) to keep our facilities in top condition.
• Assist with inspections, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Participate in the on-call roster for emergency maintenance.
• Collaborate with external contractors as needed.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in minor repairs and general maintenance (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine empathy for the elderly.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
