We’re looking for a talented Personal Lines Account Handler to work for our client.

 

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of personal lines insurance products.

The Role:

Reporting to the Operations Manager and based in the company’s Neston office, as a Personal Lines Account Handler you will be primarily responsible for handling inbound personal insurance queries, new business and renewals for Home & Motor, Commercial Vehicle and Property Owners Insurance.

 

In the job you’ll be tasked with the following:

– Managing renewals of existing customer policies in-line with diary system to achieve targeted 85% renewal retention monthly

– Answering daily customer queries & correspondence including new business, mid-term adjustments and renewals and their subsequent follow-up

– The development & growth of personal lines products within the existing customer base

– Canvassing of new, existing and previous clients for commercial opportunities

– Providing excellent customer service at all times

– Obtaining quotations using rating guides or by referring to insurers

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this Personal Lines Account Handler role will have relevant experience of personal lines insurance products.

 

You’ll also need experience of relationship management and customer service.

 

In addition, you’ll need the following:

– Excellent communication skills

– Excellent written and verbal skills

– Strong organisational skills

 

The ideal person for the role will be the following:

– Diligent and have an eye for detail

– Articulate and able to communicate on all levels

– Able to work as part of a successful team
