Recruitment and People Business Partner – Join Our Growing Retail Group Client
Location: Home-based role with 2 days per month required in office for team collaboration (London head office) – expenses covered + travel to sites if support required.
Salary: £40,000-£50,000 (depending on experience) + enhanced benefits
## This role will be supporting colleagues across the greater London area so the successful candidate must be able to travel to that area for any in person requirements that might arise as part of their duties ##

The Role:
As a Recruitment and People Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, attracting, and retaining top talent for our client. This role offers a unique blend of responsibilities between talent acquisition and HR people support, including TUPE, ER and grievance management, and general support to colleagues. You will have the opportunity to work in an adaptable position, providing support to the recruitment and people function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement recruitment strategies: Work closely with the Head of Recruitment to implement innovative and inclusive recruitment strategies, attracting high-caliber talent to the organisation.
- Candidate sourcing: Utilise various channels such as online platforms, networking, referrals, and other inventive methods to source potential candidates and ensure a diverse pool of applicants.
- Collaborate with site managers: Establish partnerships with site managers to understand their staffing requirements and provide HR support and guidance on employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
- Industry research: Conduct regular industry research to stay updated on trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor analysis, ensuring our recruitment practices remain competitive.
- Training and support: Provide training and support to hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques and recruitment best practices, ensuring a consistent and fair selection process.
- Onboarding and support: Offer continuous support and guidance to new employees during their onboarding phase, addressing any queries or challenges they may encounter, and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- HR support and guidance: Provide HR support and guidance to employees and managers on a wide range of HR-related issues, including performance management, employee relations, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Consultation processes: Guide and oversee consultation processes with affected employees, unions, and employee representatives to ensure transparency and fairness throughout any organizational changes.
- Assimilation of new employees: Assist in the assimilation of new employees from acquired sites into the existing organizational culture, policies, and procedures, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Training programs: Design and deliver training programs for managers on HR practices and procedures, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage their teams.
About You:
- Attainment of a sound educational background or professional qualification.
- Pursuance or possession of CIPD Level 5/7 accreditation, or actively working towards it.
- Demonstrated track record in HR and recruitment
- Robust understanding of employment laws and regulations in the UK.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in operating effectively within a dynamic work environment and engaging with cross-functional teams.
