Job Purpose:

Maintain and optimise a wide range of industrial machinery and systems, utilising your electrical expertise to keep production lines moving.

Main Responsibilities:

• Preventative Maintenance: Adhere to scheduled maintenance plans to minimise equipment downtime and extend machinery lifespan.
• Troubleshooting Expert: Swiftly diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults ensuring minimal operational disruption.
• Safety Champion: Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, follow protocols, complete risk assessments, and ensure the safety of your colleagues.
• Administrative Support: Maintain accurate maintenance logs and spare parts records.
• Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with the maintenance team and production staff to prioritise and resolve issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Essential: Relevant industrial maintenance experience and recognised qualifications (apprenticeship, certifications, or equivalent).
• Highly Advantageous: Electrical bias, PLC fault-finding skills, and experience with hydraulic systems.
• Problem Solver: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address complex issues.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to work on both electrical and related mechanical components.
