We’re looking for a talented Senior Claims Handler to work for our client.

 

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of commercial claims.

The Role:

In the Claims Handler role you’ll be primarily responsible for providing a full claims service and support to insurers and clients.

 

You’ll report to the Claims Manager and you’ll spend part of the working week in the company’s Billericay office.

 

In the job you’ll be tasked with the following:

– Discussing new claims enquiries from clients, determine whether cover is in place and report to insurers on the clients behalf or advising them on how to make a claim

– Handling existing claims for clients from start to finish

– Reviewing ongoing claims for clients with a view to getting these finalised and settled

– Ensuring all claims information is updated on our clients in-house system

– Negotiating with insurers, Loss Adjusters, and other third parties

– Liaising with internal Account Handlers and Executives to gain in-depth understanding of clients where necessary

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Claims Handler role will have relevant experience of managing relationships with customers.

 

You’ll also need experience of dealing with insurers and key stakeholders and fca compliance.

 

In addition, you’ll need the following:

– Excellent written and verbal skills

– Excellent attention to detail

– The ability to communicate effectively on all levels

 

The ideal person for the role will be the following:

– Able to work as part of a team

– Able to work in a fast paced environment

– Diligent and have an eye for detail
